You will be looking for a green plastic nut container with log and a few starting items inside. This one is located just off of the squirrel(symbol) trail and is part of the Royalview trail system.
There are new regulations for placing a cache in the Metro Parks, No permit is needed. The major requirement is that the container is located near the established marked trails. This container meets that requirement. There is a parking area at the trailhead for the Royalview trail system. There are two trails in this area which I have cross country skiied in the past one is a 2.5 mile loop and the other is a 3.1 mile loop. Both have some elevation changes with well marked trails. I have included a few pictures of the trail. Come out and enjoy the woods and take a very enjoyable hike in the woods. Please stay on the main trails.
