Geocache Description:

Robert Pinsky (1940- ) is the author of numerous books of poetry, prose, and translation. He served as United States Poet Laureate from 1997-2000. During his term, he established the Favorite Poem Project, which you can read about at http://www.favoritepoem.org.

In honor of the Favorite Poem Project, there are special trading requirements for this cache.
Trading Requirements: There are no trinkets in this cache, just a smattering of my favorite poems. You may log the cache without making a trade, but if you wish to trade, bring along a poem that you love and add it to the cache or swap it for one you find there. In your log, mention the title of any poem that you took from or left in the cache. No other trade items, please.

This series of caches is on Trail 4 of the Kearsarge-Ragged-Sunapee Greenway, the section between Deer Hill road in George’s Mills and Route 114 in Springfield. Parking at 114 is available at N 43° 28.629’/W072° 02.541’. Parking at Deer Hill Road is at N 43° 27.093”/W 072’ 05. 265’.
The trail is abutted by private property so please respect the “No Trespassing” signs. All caches are within 10 feet of the trail.
