Geocache Description:

This is on one of the National Trust estate woodland trails at Brockhampton nr Bromyard. One of 4 caches placed for The National trust Brockhampton's Geocaching weekend on May 26th and 27th. Print out this cache listing to get free entry onto the estate (visitor car park charge still applies as does admission charge for Lower Brockhampton).

You will need boots for this one or else be prepared to get your feet wet! This cache is not wheelchair or buggy friendly. The cache is a film cannister. Bring your own pen.
At Brockhampton there are miles of walks through the park and woodland, featuring ancient trees, the picturesque Lawn Pool, and various sculptures depicting parts of the history of Brockhampton and the local area. Some of the paths are steep and can be muddy!
It is home to a rich variety of wildlife, along with historic farming breeds such as Hereford cattle and Ryeland sheep.
Bring a picnic and you can stay all day.
You can park in the National Trust visitors car park,( SO 68420 54948) where there is a pay & display machine and admission charges apply. At the car park, there is a map showing the waymarked walks.
