Time to Stretch Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

MN.Fruitcake: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

***NOTE: If you have any questions, do not reply to the archive note email. Click on the link to go to the cache page and click on my name in the archive log at the bottom of the page. You can then send me an email regarding the cache. Please send me a link to the cache in question so I will know which cache it is regarding. I will not see notes posted to this cache page once it is archived.

Thanks for your understanding,

Music has a long tradition in baseball. Ballpark music performed by an organist debuted at Chicago's Wrigley Field in 1941, and had spread to most other Major League parks by the 1960s. Beginning in the mid-1970s, prerecorded pop and rock music began to supplement the organ music (or replace it entirely) at many ballparks.

Of course, "The Star Spangled Banner" is a baseball staple, played before every game. "Take Me Out To the Ball Game" is sung during the seventh inning stretch at each MLB stadium. Since 9-11, "God Bless America" is also often sung during this time.

Several teams have their own local musical traditions past and present in the
seventh or eighth inning
