On 4/25/12 the C&D Canal Power trail was one year old. This is one of two anniversary caches.
In its first year the C&D Canal was visited by over 500 geocachers making it a regional destination.
The Delaware Geocaching Commission thanks all previous visitors and extends a welcome to future visitors to continue the success into the second year.
Avoid the temptation to stop if your needle is pointing hard right as you enter the canal. Continue a short way to a large sandy area with plenty of parking. (See reference point) There you can pick up a very old road for a short walk that will lead to the cache with no bushwhacking needed. Or for those cachers that don't really read the cache page, you can use the easy way back to your car
