Geocache Description:

In order to gain permission for this cache, it was necessary to assure the land steward that 1) Caching would not lead to damage to plant life and habitat due to bushwhacking. 2) There can be no littering. Environmentally concerned cachers are familiar with CITO and are expected to do their part to leave the area in better condition than we found it. In the past, there have been issues with damage to the property here by careless cachers. We have been given a second chance, lets not blow it !

Bicycling on the "Shinning Sea Bike Trail" I discovered the "Salt Pond Bird Sanctuary" While enjoying the diverse Flora, Fauna and scenery, It struck me that there must be a cache here somewhere. Such a beautiful place MUST have a cache. Shockingly, there were none ! I soon heard myself utter the words "What, no caches here?" So that is what we named this cache.
Spend some quality-quiet time here, soon you'll find yourself in the company of wild rabbits, Osprey, Ducks, Gulls, Hawks, Red wing Blackbirds and diverse plant life. In periods of prolonged rain/snow the paths leading to the cache may be wet or muddy.
Please bring your own pencil. When searching for this cache, if you are directed by your GPS, or geo-sense, to go off trail and bushwhack, STOP ! The cache is not in deep cover. Read the clue, if you are still stumped, email for further assistance. I can not stress this enough....NO BUSHWHACKING ! Any damage to plant life or habitat here, and we won't be welcomed back for caching.
