Geocache Description:

ONLY LOG IF YOU FIND ALL 5 FEEDERS AND THE FINAL CACHE ..... PLEASE NOTE STAGE 4 HAS GONE MISSING AS WELL AS THE FINAL CACHE . (cachers DMPB are going to attempt the cache over christmas and replace the final cache so check the logs to see if its back in place )SO AS A TEMPORARY MEASURE HERE IS THE INFO IT CONTAINED (you still have to do all the rest to solve the final puzzle)GO TO N 54° 30.414 W 000° 41.053 , C=6

This cache has been set to make you walk UP Lythe Bank .This is that elusive 5/5 you have been looking for that is actually do-able by all !!,The first container has the coordinates for the second one and a number to jot down for the final cache and so on . These continue up the hill until you have found all 5. Once you have them all you will need to find the final cache by using the formula
N 54.30.BDC W 000.41.AED
None of the caches are sneaky or hard to find but have been put in places where you cant just jump out of your car for a drive-by . Parking is very limited on the hill thus making walking the best option and the terrain 5 (some cachers have disagreed but it felt like a 5 to me and my worn out knee AND five / five rhymes with lythe !!!) . I have made the difficulty 5 because of the number of containers that you will have to find with all the traffic muggles passing. The first section of the walk involves about 20ft without a footpath so please take care on this stretch . A number of benches are available to break the walk up and the views of Sandsend are stunning .
Sandsend is a pretty little seaside village situated near to the popular coastal resort of Whitby at the foot of Lythe Bank. Located at the end of a long beach the picturesque village has a rich history and has received literary mentions from both Wordsworth and Dickens. This striking location set against dramatic cliffs, long stretches of sandy beach and the imposing ruins of Whitby Abbey standing in the distance makes Sandsend one of the most stunning villages in North Yorkshire. There is a wide range of shops scattered along the seafront and extensive sea views. For walkers there are some fantastic coastal walks along the cliffs. Inland there are plenty of visitor attractions to explore, the fortress ruins of the 13thcentury Mulgrave Castle are well worth a visit. For the intrepid adventurer a walk under the cliffs to the north of the village at low tide leads to an expanse of rock pools and fossil filled crevices. For more active pursuits the beach is ideal for sea angling as well as surfing with the occasional 'monster wave!' Nearby the famous maritime town of Whitby has plenty of attractions to suit all tastes. Sandsend is perfectly located for exploring the rest of the beautiful North York Moors, making it a lovely destination for a relaxing seaside break.
