Geocache Description:

In anticipation and preparation for our inaugural meet and greet, we decided to place a few more caches in this beautiful park. Whether attending the meet and greet or just taking a stroll through the park, we hope that you enjoy these caches. Some caches are close to parking while others are not, however I encourage you to park in one spot and enjoy the park.

Your log is the only other reward we get other than the fun of placing these caches. This is a log only cache so byop.

Cooper Park is centrally located in the Mountain Home Parks system. The park also serves as the administrative headquarters for the Parks Department. Many local sports program use Cooper Park as their home field including the Hurricane Swim Team, American Legion Baseball, and the Mountain Home High School Baseball Team.

The Parks Facilities include a youth center, walking/running trail, senior center, pool, baseball field, soccer field, nature pond, historical settlement, two pavilions, playgrounds, outdoor basketball, three tennis courts, outdoor fitness station, and much more.

A big Thank you goes to Kelly Lewis and the Mountain Home Parks and Rec department for their assistance and permission to place these caches.

FIDO stands for Fireman's Indispensable Dowsing Option. These are also known as Redmen. This one is near the senior center which is also a very active place.
