Geocache Description:

We hid this cache on our first wedding anniversary in March, hence the name.

Lovely beach for swimming, picnicking,, fishing, canoodling or skinny dipping if you dare.

This spot is accessible by driving along the beach from The Gap campground or from the north along the beach.

DIRECTIONS:
From the south, access the beach via "The Gap" campground where the beach track begins is located at S34 14.066 E137 30.100.
From the north, access the beach from Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse cache (GC1673F). If coming from this cache, note that part of this route is on private property - leave gates as you find them.

NOTE: A 4WD is an absolute must for this caching expedition if you intend to drive along the beach (and still have a vehicle to drive home in). It's probably too far to walk to it. Check the local tides before attempting the drive. It may also be necessary to deflate your vehicle's tyres so ensure you have the equipment with you to reinflate them on return.

Update 6 march 2014
On this, our third wedding anniversary, we visited this cache to finally secure it to its spot properly. There are two previous caches still around here somewhere - the original was placed two years ago on our first wedding anniversary and is buried somewhere under tonnes of drifting sand (we assume). It contains a travel bug but we have no way of locating it. The second container was placed by Dazzatron & friends a few months ago and, we assume, has also been swallowed by sand. This time, we've secured the cache to a shrub with some green chain and it's reasonably high above the other sandy areas so should hopefully hold its ground this time! If, perchance, you happen to find either of the previous two caches then please secure them to the new cache container and let us know so that we can retrieve it/them. Cheers, ajtmb.
