The village trail is planned to be a 20+ mile walking circuit visiting a number of the delightful villages around the market town of Braintree.
This is cache 2 of stage 2 and stage 2 is just over 5 miles long. There is on street parking available in the village of Stisted, which is the starting point for this stage.
Each stage of the village trail will be a point to point walk, along public footpaths, that will eventually form a circuit. Each stage will be made up of several puzzle caches, two or three waymarker traditional caches and a bonus cache. Clues for the whereabouts of the bonus cache will be found by visiting a selection of the caches on the route, although we won't be telling you which ones.
Stage 2 also includes two en route mini bonus caches, which can be found by collecting numbers from caches 1 - 6 and 7 - 12 respectively.
There will also be a final Village Trail bonus cache which will be able to be found by collecting numbers from the main bonus cache from each stage.
You are looking for a clip lock box in a camo bag.
You move on from here to Maps. The footpath is shown on the map as passing through the wood, although there is a tree crossing the path and the diversion is quite nettly. It may be better to travel around the northern edge of the wood to the next cache.
