X Marks The Spot Cache Series.
This Series will culminate with you having the final location to a hidden treasure (Cache Name: X Marks the Spot) at the base of the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. In order for you to find the final resting spot of the X Marks the Spot Cache, you must complete all 13 caches named X1 through X13. Each cache will give you a number that will help you with the coordinates.
There are many hidden treasure in these part of the country. Many believe that Jessie James has several hidden treasure in these parts of Oklahoma. I feel like just being able to be outside and in the wild is a treasure. Once you locate all 13 X caches you will be able to find a treasure.
WARNING: This series is not easy. You can walk in from the south or you can use a boat and come from the east or north. The hike in is over a mile and the series is right a 2 miles to complete. So if you hike in you are looking at about 4 miles. This is the reason for the cache rating of 5/5. The caches are not hard to find but it is a challenge to get to them. It took me over 4 fours to complete the series and I used a boat from Robinson Landing.
This series is not you daily Park and Grab, nor are they average run of the mill hike. I like challenges and difficult caches. If you are an adventure seeker this is the cache series for you.
Please bring Water and a Snack.
Bring a pen and paper to write down the final coordinates for the X Marks the Spot Cache.
