This cache is not located at these coordinates! Clues to the location are located in caches withIN the Trefoil geoart caches.
Fact: Trefoil means three leaves. The Girl Scout Trefoil stands for the three parts of the Girl Scout Promise.
This cache is the final of a series of 31 caches forming the shape of the Girl Scout Trefoil. It was placed to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting in the United States and to serve as a training spot for new geocachers. Most of the caches are reflective. For those who like stats, we designed this series to provide a variety of caches including at least one of every size and four different types.
Girl Scouting in USA was founded by Juliette Gordon Low on March 12, 1912 in Savannah, GA. Girl Scouting in Southern NV began in 1932 in Boulder City.
Safety Considerations provided by horsegirl9816 as part of her Girl Scout Silver Award Project:
• Cache with a buddy, bring all supplies (a pen, a flashlight, tweezers, swag, a first aid kit and WATER) and wear appropriate clothing for the weather, the environment, and the activity
• Waypoint your vehicle to return to and leave a note in your car with general information on who is with you, where you are going and what time you departed and expect to return
• Use established trails whenever possible and watch where you step when off-trail
• Avoid environmentally sensitive areas/damaging living plants and don’t harass wildlife or disturb their homes
• Always Cache in, Trash out: Leave it better than you found it!
Nearest restroom/services: US-95 Exit 99
