The posted coordinates lead you to a sign with 3 different walks detailed. The second clue is located at: 37deg 57.X36S 145deg 14.4Y5E. To find out what the X represents, Look at the sign and find out how far it is to the 'HISTORIC AREA' and you will find that x = the number found after the decimal point -4. To find out what the Y represents, use the same distance figure and Y = the number located before the decimal point +4.
If you have interpreted this clue correctly, then you will have traveled approximately 460 metres and will now be on higher ground.
At the second clue you will have found another sign post. The real cache is located at: 37deg 57.109S 145deg 14.Z54E. To find out what correct Longitude is, the sign indicates the Distance to "BRADY RD" Z = the distance specified on this sign +4.
The real Cache is at this location and is buried with only the black lid showing, so look carefully. The lid is a push on type so please ensure it is properly replaced after use,to keep out the rain. It is a large 20litre builders bucket. Please do not remove the bucket from the hole as the soil may fall back in to the hole and make it harder to replace the cache properly. The area is grassy bushland but it is not difficult to move around in.
The Cache contains:
- A book
- Cable ties
- toy firetruck and fire chief car
- a Willy Wacker
- Billard Cue Chalk
- A blank CD
- and a few other things.
The log book is made up of waterproof synthetic paper called "Teslin" and is excellent for printing maps on (via inkjet printers). Good Luck.
