The cache is located in the Goat Cave Nature Preserve which features several sink holes that feed into the Edwards Aquifer beneath the Hillcountry.
The preserve rules do not allow for leaving the established trail and you need not do so to find the cache. Go to the coordinates presented above and then return to the interpretive display for Hideout Cave. On that interpretive sign along the trail there are pictures of several endangered species. What species (common name) is shown in the top middle spot?
