Geocache Description:

Begin Earth Day Weekend by sharing a favorite sport. Come join us as we present Geocaching 101 at Reed Bingham State Park.

**NEW CACHERS**EXPERIENCED CACHERS**EVERYONE IN BETWEEN***

April 21, 2012 10 - 1 p.m.

There are treasures hidden in the woods! If this is your first-time treasure hunt, never fear. Experienced geocachers will be there to help. If you have a car or hand-held GSP, bring it along; if not, come anyway to learn what it's all about. If you love games and love the woods, don't miss this one!

We will meet at 10:00 AM for an Introduction to Geocaching presentation. There are a number of permanent caches placed in this park for folks to find! There will be new caches released the day of the event. We will have a two GPSr's to loan and we encourage experienced cachers to come along and share their guidance for those who are new to the sport.

We will come back together for a brown bag lunch. We will have door prizes to raffle.

NOTE: Parking fee required in all state parks; free parking with your annual park pass or with a park pass checked out from a public library.

There are camping spots available for the weekend so if you're one of those "camping cachers" or would like to be, make your reservations soon before the campground fills up :) Then, you can do even more caching in the surrounding countryside.

Fun for the whole family is what geocaching is all about. Hope to see you there!
