This cache is dedicated to the memory of Irvin Carpenter. Irvin took care of this little cemetery his entire life. He worked with my brother and me and trained us to be the future caretakers. Hope you enjoy your visit here as much as we do.
FTF gets a prize. It is marked in its own seperate bag.
Entering the cemetery itself is not required to find this cache. Take your time and look around a bit. It's very peaceful here. For some fun, see if you can find the graves of a set of brothers who died on the same day. They were murdered many, many years ago. This story was passed down through several generations of the Carpenter family and Irvin told it to me. It would be neat to see pics posted of the tombstones. If you enter the gate please be sure to close it back and hook the chain. If you come on the weekend during the warmer months you might run into my brother and I mowing the cemetery. Stop and say hello if you see us.
