Geocache Description:

Another quick and easy cache in the Montville area.

Please do not disturb the residents living here. Absolutely no night time caching or I will have to archive this cache. Permission was granted by a township trustee.

Montville was founded in 1822 and the first burial was approximately 1830. We have veterans from each war buried here. Two Revolutionary war veterans are buried here, Israel Barnes and Israel Wilson. The 1st settler of Montville is also here and still has descendants living in the township.

Note: The township doesn't always plow to this area. Be prepared to walk a short distance in the winter.

The cache is a small container, suitable for trading small items. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PENCIL.
