Geocache Description:

Cache Hide #12

PLEASE LOG ANY/ALL DNF's.

Beautiful woods and trails. 40.57 acres of conservation land owned by the Town of Duxbury consisting of 27.23 acres of open field on the south side of Winter Street, and a 13.3 acre open field and woods on the north side of Winter Street. The town of Duxbury has named the conservation land Berrybrook Fields. This scenic agricultural streetscape is rare in the region, and also contains rare species habitat. Come late summertime, you'll be able to walk the trails among the rolled hay bails.

Watch for animal droppings (mainly geese droppings) and the manure that is spread for fertilizing the field.

We have always wanted to take a stroll on this piece of property. Our first time here and we found a nice spot for a cache. We hope you enjoy the serenity as much as we do.

Do not access property before sunrise or after sunset.
