Intended as a cache-and-dash at a pleasant spot with pleasant views. (Or stay longer if you like!)
This small section of the old road is now a layby which has been (rather elaborately) named Llanvetherine Millenium Garden. In reality at the moment there are a few young trees, a distance plaque (with a lat-long on that is different to mine!) and a bench to sit on. Give it a few years and the trees will get to a good height hopefully.
My main reason for bringing you here though is it's rather pleasant views across to White Castle (partly obscured by trees) and to The Graig (423m high) which look all the better on a cold wintery morning as the sun is coming up - which is often how I see it on the way to work.
