Nearby is a structure reminiscent of those built by Native Americans in the southwest, but it is not. This rock castle-like structure was built recently by a young man I met several times on my morning walks. He built it as a memorial for his deceased father and as a place to come and meditate--a sanctuary, hence the name of the cache. There is another smaller partial built structure a stones throw just to the south. From this rocky knoll one has a great view of the backside of Laguna Lake to the west and the mountain to the east.
There is a gate, unlocked when I checked it at N35 15.033 W120 39.857, through which one ought to be able to pass. Be sure to secure the gate if closed when you pass through. Madonna has had a long history of allowing people to go onto his land.
