The CAP CAP story begins ....
The POD just showed up one dark, foggy night. Everyone knew it
was there, but nobody talked about it. Sometimes on a dare a
teenager would poke it with a stick, but because of the noises it
made when doing so, no-one tried to open it. No one in Leslie was
THAT stupid.
Then one sunny day, an out-of-towner on a bicycle with a GPS in
hand stumbled across the oblong object. Not knowing any better, he
turned the hatch. Startled at the commotion that ensued, he closed
the hatch, but not quickly enough. Several creatures escaped, and
the world as we know it was changed forever.
Sleepy CAP is part of the CAP-CAP Invasion. Read how the story
begins and how to play along at geocache GC2XYG9.
CAP-CAP Invasion! - Sleepy
CAP
Sleepy CAP --- Down thru the leaves of the old oak tree (well,
maybe not oak, but still leaves, well maybe needles).
My eyes & lips are little slits as I hang sleeping. I really
really like to sleep, but I might wake up when you come find
me!
I traveled far from my home POD in a place called Leslie and
found myself here, in a place called Lansing. I must have been
doing my favorite activity, SLEEPING!, because I don't remember
leaving my POD or arriving in this nice cozy resting spot. You can
stop by, but be quiet like a little mouse, so as not to disturb me
too much. I do fall back asleep very quickly!
--------------------------------
• Only a log, so bring your own pencil or pen
• We do have permission to park & cache
• Stay on trails til you head off a few feet to the cache
(please try not to create geo-trails)
• Not many muggles, but I have had a cache go missing twice
from this natural area, so use some stealth
• Could be wet with lots of mosquitoes at times
• Wooden boardwalk & bridge can be VERY slippery
in wet weather!
Happy Trails & Keep On
Caching!
Congratulations to thevidas on the
FTF!
