Crystal balls
Clear natural quartz crystal balls with marks that look like cracks, inclusions and sparkling rainbows are best for clairvoyance. Some people mistakenly think these are broken but ones that are totally clear inside are much harder to use. Anyone can read a crystal ball with markings in it as the cracks form physical images that help the psychic or clairvoyant eye to pick up the hidden psychic cache information they hold. Clear quartz crystal can be used in sunlight, moonlight, or by candlelight.
Amethyst crystal balls are good for answering questions about healing and health (especially reducing stress caused by puzzle caches), for matters concerning the past, for complex relationships such as love affairs or placating partners when you want to dash out at 1am for a FTF, for issues concerning women, for issues of guilt and blame (when you can’t find the cache), spiritual matters, private and caching worries, fears (of a DNF), and addictions ( and we all know about addictions). Amethyst is best in moonlight or candlelight especially when a cache is published in the middle of the night.
Rose quartz is good for questions about love, family, animals, fertility, self esteem, traditional caches, the home, and children. Good in moonlight or soft natural light but not bright sunlight. Not so effective with candles or GPS’s on smart phones.
Reading a crystal ball This is the simplest method but spend a few minutes just looking for images, words and digits in the ball so your eyes get attuned to crystal’s secrets.
• Ask your question. Something like “What are the coordinates for this geocache ?”
• Either light a candle so the light shines in the ball or work with sunlight or moonlight.
• Turn the ball round in the light and allow pictures and coordinate numbers to form within the ball one after the other, using the cracks and lines within to make spontaneously the shapes of animals, birds, stars, scenes, people and if you are lucky the words South and East followed by digits may appear.
• Choose the clearest or largest image first. What is it saying about your question?
• For example a boat on a stormy sea with land ahead says that the coordinates you are guessing or seeking are difficult but you will soon reach your desired goal.
You may hear words in your mind or feelings and impressions that will add information. You may even hear a ringing sound if another geocachers wants to PAF.
Sometimes your chosen image, word or digit will change into a second image, but if not turn the ball gently in your hands and focus on the next clearest image
• Keep choosing images until you can see no more or all the required digits appear to locate GZ.
• Now totally relax and just write everything that comes to mind about those images however seemingly unrelated. If this step isn’t followed you will probably make a mistake.
• Do not read what you have written until you have finished writing. As you read what you have written the answer to your question may become clear and a quick check on the geochecker may confirm or deny your ability to apply psychic powers.
The Three Images Method
This is an alternative slightly more complicated method using a crystal ball and you can as I suggest adapt it for understanding past, present and future concerning an issue. If you prefer you can use three images as three aspects of the same question as seen from where you are now. Something like (1) “What are the coordinates for this cache?” (2) “Can I be bothered to get out of my warm bed?” (3) “If I do will I get a FTF?”
By seeking just three key images and interpreting those as a sequence in relation to the questions asked you can usually get to the heart of any matter or in this case find the cache with a blank logbook.
• This time expand each image in your mind to extract as much information as possible from it and any associated ideas before moving on to the next. If alone record your thoughts aloud on tape or scribble down impressions. You can always check google earth later.
• First focus on the question and any possible time frame for solving, minutes, days, weeks, months or years.
• Look towards the centre of the ball and name aloud the first clear image. If the answer starts to look like years perhaps PAF is the way to go. (That’s not cheating is it ? )
• What words or digits come into your mind and what do you feel about the these ? For example if a bird is it a flying bird, a nesting bird, a caged bird? What species of bird is it? Is it one you like or fear? Is the cage door open and does the bird want to stay inside? Answers to these questions may not help much but will assist in raising anxiety levels about that FTF.
• Now identify another image and then a third.
• Try to obtain as much detail as possible. Even if you cannot get much form the crystal ball image close your eyes while holding the ball and see it in your mind and its background/context.
• You may decide to use the first image to interpret what it is from the past that is relevant now, the second as crucial but maybe hidden present information and the third as the possible steps to future happiness or the outcome of planned change or action. If the letters FTF appear you can start getting excited.
• Whether or not you do this or use the three images to expand the current issue, try to weave the three images together and get to see what they are saying For example the bird sitting inside the cage that is open may be too scared to fly out, may not want to or not realize the door is open. Who is the bird (usually the person who has asked for the reading)? What is the cage? A relationship, a cache solution going nowhere, a home that has become confined, suggesting that relocation would be desirable? How do the other images expand the theme or give direction?
Whether alone or working to help someone else you can weave the images together to find a solution and a way ahead. You never know there may be a FTF in the offering anyway.
Extra useful equipment for clairvoyance and tips for crystal ball reading
Creating a beautiful working place for clairvoyance work helps your everyday mind to relax into a softer more intuitive mood so that you can more easily access hidden information.
· Light incense if working indoors whether as cones, sticks or granular incense that burns very beautifully and easily on charcoal disks in frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood, rose, pine, jasmine, magnolia or musk.
· Alternatively burn floral fragrance oils in an aroma lamp or any of the above fragrances
Scented or white candles may not only shed light on the ball but open your psychic awareness of what you sense as well as what you see and hear.
· Place four protective crystal, glass ceramic, metal angels, or glasses of wine to stand at the four corners of your table (optional)
To begin a crystal ball reading, light one or two candles in a darkened, quiet room. Place the crystal ball on a stand, on a table, or you can hold it, but it should have a dark blue or black velvet cloth underneath it. Make sure that there are no reflections from anything showing in the ball. Before beginning, centre yourself. Gaze into the ball, but do not stare. Try not to blink that much. While you are gazing, breathe in and out slowly and deeply. Just relax and gaze. Enjoy the peacefulness and simply gaze. Do this for at least 15 minutes, and increase your time by 5 minutes with each succeeding session. Usually around the second or third session, you will notice a small cloudy glow in the centre of your crystal ball. This is your focusing area where your visions will appear.
Gazing into a clear crystal ball opens the third eye and allows the reader to see images that appear physical as well as others that are non-physical. One is focusing the mind and seeing beyond. The name given to this practice is “Scrying,” a method of divination that consists of gazing into a crystal ball, mirror, water or any reflective surface, in order to enter an altered state of consciousness. Altered states allow one to get in touch with the subconscious mind which often contains knowledge the conscious mind is unable – or unwilling – to access . If your eyes appear to cross from gazing too long, relax and start again. It takes time and practice and the ability to relax the mind.
The term clairvoyance (from French clair meaning "clear" and voyance meaning "vision") is used to refer to the ability to gain information about an object, person, cache location or physical event through means other than the known human senses, a form of extra-sensory perception. A person said to have the ability of clairvoyance is referred to as a clairvoyant ("one who sees clearly").
Claims for the existence of paranormal and psychic abilities such as clairvoyance are highly controversial. Parapsychology explores this possibility, but the existence of the paranormal is generally not accepted by the scientific community. Clairvoyance is often listed as an example of pseudoscience.
Good luck and happy caching.
