Geocache Description:

Loop road on BLM land near Placitas. Parking nearby, road is usually good except when muddy.

In the spirit of the Centennial, the largest Nano I've ever seen is placed a short distance off the Forest Loop Road, about 1.6 miles from the west entrance. Normally Nano's aren't used in this terrain, but this Nano is BIG. It should be very easy to find. Equipped with swag. Plenty of prickly things in the area, good shoes and long pants recommended.

This nano is now a TB Hotel! It has attracted large number of TBs and after winning a 2013 Froggie Award for the best TB Hotel in New Mexico, I had to change it's name. PLEASE lodge your TBs here since it has a high turn over and very close to I-25.
