Geocache Description:

This cache takes you along a scenic creek trail and is the beginning of the 7 mile Falls trail.

Rickets Glen State Park is home to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the state. Near the parking area you can easily access Adams Falls. The trail along which this cache is located takes you on a loop of 20 waterfalls. The trail is very difficult after the first mile and is closed in the winter to all but experienced hikers with ice climbing equipment - there are signs at the trailhead calling this out. The first mile however is very easy terrain year round and the cache can be reached with children and pets alike. The cache is located right along the trail and no bushwackign is required. Enjoy the 1 mile roundtrip hike. This cache is placed with the permission of the DCNR and Rickets Glen Park Management. Please be respectful of the area. Happy Caching!
