I was out caching the other day when I met up with Ugly. “EW!” I said. “Shut your mouth!” he said. “Oh, I am sorry. I was taken aback by your unfortunate looks.” “What are you, some sort of appearancist?” “No, I don’t think so. Anyway, I said I was sorry.” “Well I don’t think you are very bright, so we are even.”
We walked and we talked and we drove and talked some more, all the while discussing social norms. We finally decided that Ugly would have to show the world that you should not look down on Ugly as he looks down on you (he doesn’t think any of us are all that bright).
