Grand Via Con DIOS, Amigos, Jim and Lori Traditional Cache

Two Grands: I received a phone call today to say the container has been taken yet again. There is no other option at this point but to archive this cache now.

Jim and Lori have moved closer to BC but they are not back on the Island yet. We can hope.

Geocache Description:


This cache is placed to honour a Port Alberni caching team "doingitoldschool", or 'DIOS' for short. At this time they must leave the Valley and head East for another chapter in their Book of Life. They have been a good friend to all cachers by placing caches and extending friendship and fellowship to all. They will be missed - but it is our hope that they may someday be able to return to live in this area once again.

We feel it is fitting to place this cache here - it is not under a pile of rocks or stuck to a metal object somewhere. It is hidden near some of the grandest trees in the world - growing tall and proud for hundreds of years.
Come and find the cache, remember Jim and Lori and the fun you may have had with them, or because of their hides, or their events. Stay for a while in this place and enjoy the beauty Mother Nature has provided.

The coords will take you to the middle of a gravel access road. Walk into the forest about 25 feet.
