**Due to heavy foot traffic, the final destination for this
multi-cache is now virtual. Please see below for instructions to
log your visit**
This cache is located in Ocean Beach, California. It has been
designed to give the treasure hunter a nice journey along varied
coastal terrain with the entire adventure to be completed on foot.
There is usually plenty of nearby parking as well as a number of
fine establishments perfect for post-victory celebration.
The coordinates above will lead you to waypoint 1. Despite what
the map shows, you will not need a boat to reach it. Once there you
will learn the details necessary to find the actual cache (waypoint
2) which is located approximately one-half mile away.
The second, and final, destination, is well worth the visit.
Although the original treasure was a large ammo box, it was
plundered too many times by non-cachers. As such, the second
destination is now virtual and in order to log a successful find,
you must either 1) post a photo of you at the site of waypoint two
(without giving away the password, please!) or 2) email with the
password:
Your PEARL will be found in this "ROCK-and-roll" song that
starts with a "J"
Afterwards, be sure to sit awhile and enjoy the view.
