This series is more about the places than the cache! Growing up out here in the sticks, I always heard and knew of these "villages" that were created by the people that lived here. Some of these "villages" aren't on the new maps, and almost all are now considered part of a nearby bigger town or borough.
This cache is located in what my dad calls Morris Flats. Morris Flats is now primarily owned by two people, but still pretty spacious (grasslands on one side of Penelec Power Area and wooded area on the other). Can drive within 20ft of the cache so should be nice c&d, but take a minute to enjoy the area around you. Cache is a small container with some swag in it! Enjoy!
Parking for this cache should be right near the cache off the road, but please be careful pulling off and back onto RT 53. The cache is before you reach a nearby local fishing stream, but please be respectful of the people's property and don't go wondering into the Posted Areas on the other side of the stream. There is no need to cross the stream.
These caches were going to be part of an unknown cache
that lead to one of my favorite places, but it has been a long process to gain permission for the final cache. So I have decided to post these as a series for everyone to enjoy til I get permission for the other one and then just post it by itself or maybe as a new multiple cache. So if any of the container lids have clues on them still just ignore them.
