Geocache Description:

The Seven Dwarves 3
From Cache 2, walk down across the field to the farm, ( stopping to let the children climb on the old dead tree for a few minutes!) then turn left along the bridleway, passing a duckpond and follow the bridleway to Cache 3.

This is a child-friendly, circular, 4 mile walk with eight caches, in the beautiful countryside around Boar’s Hill with wonderful views over the “dreaming spires” of Oxford. It is all on (mostly easy) public footpaths/bridleways but some are narrow and can get muddy. It takes in woodland and open fields with lots of wildlife to see. There are a few steep sections. It is a good dog walking or running route, but not all sections are suitable for wheelchair access. It starts and finishes near Jarn Mound and Matthew Arnold Field where parking is available (see waypoints).
The walk comprises 7 traditional caches, each of which has a logbook displaying a picture of one of the Seven Dwarves (from Disney’s “Snow White”). Make a note of which Dwarf is in which cache (numbered 1-7). When you’ve finished the walk, sit in Matthew Arnold Field, enjoy the views and use this to calculate the location of the bonus “Snow White” cache.
The co-ordinates for the bonus “Snow White” cache are not of it’s actual location but are of a nearby pleasant spot to sit and work out it’s real location.
Please re-seal and re-hide all the caches well once you’ve signed the log and swapped any treasures.
They are all clip-top camouflages boxes close to the path.
