Geocache Description:

magnetic

Here is an "essay" written by JollyJonesJr for a school assignment. I hope that you would be able to use it for the long description of your Sgt. Tommy Prince cache. This little guy worked really hard on it and is really proud of his work. Thank you for considering it! Enjoy your weekend! And thank you for inspiring this research topic!

A Canadian Hero

Let me tell you about a Canadian hero. His name is Sergeant Tommy Prince and I go to school with his great granddaughter. He is one of Canada’s most decorated First Nation’s soldiers. He was in World War two and the Korean War. He was an excellent marksman and tracker. He came from a reserve in Scanterbury, Manitoba. Sergeant Tommy Prince received the Silver Star Medal and only a few other non-Americans have gotten it. He also met King George at Buckingham Palace in England.

I think Sergeant Tommy Prince was a brave soldier because once he pretended to be a farmer on enemy lines. He was able to fix a communication line by pretending to tie his shoe. Also he and his crew were known to the enemy as the Devil Brigade. This is why I think he is a hero.
