Indian Head is a landmark similar to that of Old Man on the Mountain. There is a cliff which resembles that of an individual's profile. New Hampshire is rich with Native American folklore and this story is no exception.
This cache does require hiking, but it is not intense by a hikers standpoint. Trail and cache are both family friendly.
Please, no looking near the edge of the cliff for the cache.
Go Team Amigos!!
History Collides: This site is also known because it is one of the last areas Betty and Barney Hill remember driving through before reportedly being abducted in 1961. A case that is considered one of the first and most publicized abduction cases. The state of New Hampshire erected a landmark sign on the 50th Anniversary near the edge of the road. You may see it on your way to the trailhead.
