Occasionally the gates will be locked for Parks Victoria Works.
If the gates are locked please write a note and not a DNF in your log.
Visible to the north west of this cache are a series of moderately-sized enclosures.
These were, and may still be, part of the Eastern Barred Bandicoot program.
Efforts to improve the prospects for this small marsupial are ongoing.
This is also the best spot to go after GCKVJ5 - Cumberland Walk V.2.
