Well it lasted nearly 5 years...

It's lived through stage 1 being replaced. Stage 2 rotting away. Now stage 3 is unsuitable so it's time to archive.

Fittingly Jaina helped my check the location tonight.

Geocache Description:

This is my first cache ever. It is dedicated to my daughter Jaina who was 6 months old when the cache was planted and accompanied me when I was taking the GPS readings. It is an easy multi-cache using easy-to-find land marks with 3 way points. Suitable for those with kids and buggies all year round.

I wanted to show people a very rarely used path that nearly became completely overgrown until recent developments opened it up again. Plus I really enjoy multi-caches so I wanted to make my own.

There is plenty of parking on street.

The cache is in a small container in a camouflage bag containing a log book and pen.

HELP WITH COORDINATES CALCULATIONS: A few people have asked for help with or were confused by the coordinate calculations so this is some information to help.

Coordinates are almost always in the form [N/S XXX XX.XXX W/E XXX.XX.XXX] e.g. N 012 34.567 W 008 90.123. So using this knowledge you can understand the calculations easier.

Also please forget correct algebra - the brackets are not usually used for multiplication. For example N 050 4(clue).123 where clue = 3 the answer is N 050 43.123. Another example is W 012 02.(clueb+1)(clued)5 where clueb=2 and clued=3 the answer is W 012 02.335.
