Thyborøn kirke er en helt ny og moderne kirke.
Den første kirke i Thyborøn fra 1908, en traditionel kirkebygning, udvidet til korskirke i 1936-37, blev nedrevet i 2009. Store sætningsskader betød at det ville blive for dyrt at renovere den. En del inventar, bl.a. døbefont, orgel og altertavle, er genanvendt i den nye kirkebygning, ligesom klokketårnet fra 1969 er bevaret. Den ny kirke, tegnet af arkitektfirmaet Vilsbøll og Poulsen, Lemvig, er både større og meget forskellig fra den tidligere. Kirken blev indviet den 6. februar 2011.

Thyborøn church is a completely new and modern church.
The first church in Thyborøn from 1908, a traditional church building, extended to cruciform church in 1936-37, was demolished in 2009. Great damage meant that it would be too expensive to renovate it. Some furniture, including baptismal font, organ and the altarpiece, is used again in the new church, like the bell tower from 1969 is preserved. The new church, designed by architectural firm Vilsbøl and Poulsen, Lemvig, is both larger and very different from the past. The church was consecrated on 6 February 2011.
