Le nom de ce lieu a été inspiré par la croix plantées ici par les Micmacs à marquer l'une des limites de la réserve. La dernière bataille de Ristigouche a eu lieu ici le 8 juillet 1760.
Pointe-à-la-Croix a de nombreux sites intéressants à visiter : Le
belvédère de la montagne offre une superbe vue panoramique de la région, y compris une partie de la côte du Nouveau-brunswick .
La Jeune Chambre, où le centre d'information touristique a ses quartiers. Cette maison historique est construit entièrement en bois assemblés en queue d'aronde mixte. Il remonte au 19e siècle.
Bordeaux chambre est probablement la plus ancienne maison en Gaspésie. Il a été construit à la fin du 18e siècle et doit son nom à son premier occupant Mary le troc qui est né à Bordeaux, en France. L'intérieur a l'apparence d'un véritable musée.
Il y a un sanctuaire d'oiseaux situé près de Pointe-a-Bordeaux.
Un centre d'interprétation concernant les événements de la dernière bataille de Ristigouche peut également être visité.

The name of this place was inspired by the cross planted here by the Micmacs to mark one of the limits of the reserve. The last battle of Ristigouche took place here on the 8th of July 1760.
Pointe-a-la-Croix has many interesting sights to visit:
The belvedere on the mountain offers a superb panoramic view of the region including a part of the New Brunswick coast.
The Young House where the tourist information centre has its quarters. This historical house is built entirely of wood assembled in dovetail joint. It dates back to the 19th century.
Bordeaux House is probably the oldest house in the Gaspe. It was built at the end of the 18th century and owes its name to its first occupant Mary Barter who was born in Bordeaux, France. The interior has the looks of a real museum.
There is a bird sanctuary situated near Pointe-a-Bordeaux.
An interpretation centre relating the events of the last battle of Ristigouche can also be visited.
