A cylindrical container 3” in diameter and 6” long along a well developed easy trail (Highline Trail) with mild grade changes off the Pine Trail head outside Pine, AZ.
The trail starts from the southwest corner of the parking area near the signs that describe the Arizona Trail and the Highline Trail. The cache is about 1/2 mile stroll from the parking area. It is suitable for all ages and animal companions and open all year, excepting an occasional snowfall in the winter.
There are several other geocaches accessible from the Pine Trailhead.
The cache is right by the trail so it is easy to practice “leave no trace.” There is no need to step more than 5 feet off the trail.
