Geocache Description:

The cache is situated near to a brick sewer vent in the Mill Brow area of Widnes. It is a sewer ventilating shaft built by J.S Sinclair ( engineer ) in 1893. It is now a grade 2 listed building gaining that status on October 31st 1983. It is a red brick building with a blue brick plinth.
It stands 30 foot high by 4 foot square. The shaft tapers upwards, and has narrow sunken features on each face. It is the only remaining brick sewer shaft from this era in the country.

The cache is a small black tub containing a log and 3 troll gonk toys. Please be advised there is no pen. Plenty of parking at GZ.
