Bring your own pen!!!
We recently were blessed by the opportunity to build a cabin in the
Adirondacks. We used to shoot right up the TSP to I-90 until former
Governor Paterson was kind enough to close the only rest area (it
used to be in Schodack) between NYC and Albany along our route,
thus, making our trip a little, um, unpleasant.
We had to find a different route so that we could tap the kidneys.
We discovered that going up Rt. 82 from the TSP and hitting I-90
just short of Schodack was not only a peasant drive, but also
afforded a multitude of eating establishments and places to use the
rest room.
Now, we stop here twice nearly every weekend on our way to and back
from the cabin. Surprised that there was no cache in the immediate
area, we decided to place our own.
This little bugger blends in well with its surroundings, but if you
search correctly, you can make the find without drawing attention
to yourself.
You can park VERY close to the cache and we sort of recommend this
to afford even just a bit more cover for your search.

Since part of the main idea of geocaching is to sign the log - any
'finds' without signing the log will be deleted. If you forgot a
pen - you can purchase one very close by, but don't say we didn't
remind you to bring a pen.
