Cache is not located at these coordinates.

The Cache That Almost Got Away

Assume N36 and W090 was the only hint this cache gave us.

However, not any of our previous geocaching adventures could have prepared us for this find. We had tried to find this cache before, but were unsuccessful. So with re-entered coordinates, we tried again. We headed down Hwy. 67 thinking we have got it right this time. We get to where we think it is. We could see the painted blue bridge up ahead, but our coordinates took us to a sign. After the last time trying to find this cache, the numbers were so off I verified what I'd read to be certain it was here.

After searching the sign, it would seem all of our previous research was wrong. AGAIN! Not wanting to go home empty handed again, we decided to try the bridge. After all, my math could have been off. Got to the bridge over Six Mile Creek and searched. There wasn’t a rail on this bridge. So we looked at each beam one at a time. Surely there was a magnetic cache here somewhere. Since the creek was really low, we walked on the rocks trying to spot it from underneath. We didn’t want to strike out again. What Luck!! There it was. We did not even need to phone a friend.

So my advice to all cachers would be this. When dealing with a Mystery Cache, always re-read your clues and make sure your math is right.
