Ringsfield & Redisham Hall 10 - Towards Ringsfield
You are looking for a microcache.
NOTE: If you are doing the route backwards and want to move on to cache no. 9 Troll Cache then please continue along Ringsfield Road towards Ilketshall St Andrew and enter the cross field part at a public footpath opposite Moat Cottage.
This is a circular trek starting and finishing in Ringsfield Corner.
It is approximately 5 to 6 miles in total and takes in roads, bridleways and footpaths. I did it on a bike no problem but ther are some stretches in the middle (around caches 7 to 9) that follow field edges and go through woodland.
Most of the caches are microcaches with one larger cache on the way for swappables and trackables. Also one or two trickier ones.
There is some fantastic countryside and wildlife along the way. While puttting out the caches I saw horses, cattle, rabbits, several hares, lots of birds and a deer!
Redisham Hall itself and surrounding buidlings are listed and are really impressive.
If you need some food and drink after (or before) the walk its starts/finsishes near a nice country pub.
I think parts of this walk are a hidden gem.... hope you enjoy.
