This cache was placed as part of the 2011 Rain Snow or Shine Cache Dash.
Enjoy the walk along the Blazing Star trail. There's even a nice bench near by to take a break and enjoy the view of the lake if you'd like. Sitting on the bench might give you a bit of a better perspective to find the cache, but it probably won't put you any closer to it. The cache is designed to be winter friendly, but in the heavy snow it might take just a little bit of effort to uncover it. It's not buried, in fact there might not even be much snow touching it; just hiding it. Be on the lookout for a classic "regular" size cache.
