Another in our series of local moth species, a quick cache and dash.
This is a small screw top container with log book, pencil, small swappables and FTF card.
The Orange Moth is a large striking species that is at the northern edge of its range in Lincolnshire. Stainfield wood across the road from the cache is the most northerly know breeding site in Britian and the only one in the county. Its caterpillars feed on a variety of trees including Hawthorn.
