Geocache Description:

Highway 9 is a beautiful road, and a popular route to skyline for bicyclists, motorcyclists, and drivers of other vehicles too. Decades ago I worked in downtown Saratoga, and each weekend we would see the ambulance race up the hill. Frequently the accidents are because someone is being stupid and driving too fast. Share the road, be careful, watch for other vehicles, and pull off the road when you stop for a cache. Most of the wide places you can pull off along this road are only dirt. Near this cache when driving downhill is a signpost, and a small paved area you may park in. I don't recommend parking on the dirt when it is muddy. Please replace the cache as found and cover with wood so it isn’t to obvious. Otherwise the contents will likely get wet. This cache should be easy to find, but The container is not visible from the road. The original cache had a higher terrain rating. The hide is not up the hill, and I would lower the terrain rating more but I can’t imagine extracting the cache if confined to a wheelchair. Many folks seem to have trouble with their GPS in this area. The cache is not on the sign, but is on the same side of the street and close. Currently the container is a plastic coffee can. (If you read this description deduct a star from the difficulty.)
