What brings you to Ridgecrest? I was born here in the 60's when my dad was stationed at China Lake NWS. I didn't stay long that time, but have returned over 40 years later because of a teaching position.
This cache will hopefully make you think. Think about what brought you here to Ridgecrest...and think about what you are trying to find in order to figure out where to find the final cache. The coordinates take you to the starting point. You will travel approximately a mile and a half from beginning to end.
The road more traveled may be more hazardous in spots. There is a road less traveled that will provide greater safety and doesn't necessarily require 4WD...I was in my minivan.
When you get to the actual cache location, enjoy what you see. The desert is truly a beautiful place and Ridgecrest isn't half bad either!
