"You Can't Roller Skate __ _ _______ ____" was a Top 40 hit for Oklahoma singer/songwriter Roger Miller in 1966. If you can complete the lyric, you've got a leg up on solving the theme of this Lawton cache run. All 12 caches are micros or smaller. High muggle factor at most locations, so use extreme stealth.
This was originally conceived to be a single multi-cache, but the more we looked, the more locations we found. I don't know anyone who's got the patience for a 12-part multi-cache, so we did it this way. The series was placed for the enjoyment of the SouthWest Area Geocachers (SWAG) and the Texoma Geocaching Assn. (ToGA) when they gathered for a meeting in Lawton.
And now for something completely different! At this stop, you're looking for a simple park & grab featuring one of our famous "Okie micros." Although the find is relatively easy, the muggle factor is extremely high, and seems to be troublesome all day and into most of the evening. And, yeah, the people inside can easily spot you through the doors and windows. Based on that, we've upped the difficulty to a 2.5-star. Good luck.
Trivia: Liquid Paper was invented by Dallas, TX, secretary Bette Graham in the 1950s. When Gillette bought the patent in 1979, she became a multimillionaire. We may not remember her, but most of us have heard of her son, Mike Nesmith, who was one of the Monkees. He inherited more than $25 million when his mom died.
Congratulations to TEAM ToGA for the FTF!
