This is a fun cache with a difficult climb to GZ. There are two
steep hills: the first hill is the longest, and already has a rope
to assist in climbing. The second hill is shorter, but with no
rope. You must scale both to reach the cache. Please be discreet
when searching for the cache, as I believe the neighbor kids come
there often.
This cache is any geomom's nightmare: two steep hills, going up 20
feet, and a lone rope leading to the top. I'm sure all parents can
visualize something bad happening, resulting in broken bones. But
fear not, geomothers! Unless your child weighs 300 pounds or more,
the rope and the object it is tied to will most likely remain
secure. This is not to say there is no danger at attempting this
cache, but the odds are on your side… Bring closed toed shoes
, and maybe some gloves to prevent rope burns. You may bring a rope
with you and try to lasso an object to climb the second hill, but
it is possible to climb without one. There are various hand holds
to be used, such as burrows, roots, and small trees. DO NOT ATTEMPT
THIS CACHE IN THE RAIN! Climbing could cause the hill to crumble
when wet. The hide should be fairly easy once you are at the top.
Please try your best not to trample the foliage and make the cache
location more obvious. Use your own judgment to see if this is
appropriate for you. I've climbed it fine, but then I am only 12.
Search for this cache at your own risk!
I of SiandI at the bottom of Hill #2 (that cliff behind him is hill
#1)
EDIT: 9/6/11 Replaced the cache in a different spot. Now when you
climb up from Hill #2, turn LEFT and continue until you hit a stick
barrier about knee high. Then begin searching. to climb the second
hill, it works best to use the small burrows and roots as hand and
footholds.
EDIT: 1/2/11 Moved the cache again, due to a long fall and some
water in the container. I've updated the hint to reflect the new
location.
