Ammo box hidden near the trail. Contains some trinkets for the kids, a First to Find 'reward', and a logbook. Enjoy the hike and the view.
Trail head is located well up the mountain near the cell tower. Take Eagle River road to Stewart Drive and then proceed 6 switchbacks up and there is a small parking area at the 7th switch back. Please don't block the gate. Walk around the gate and follow the dirt road to the cell tower where the trail begins. Please respect private property and stay on the trail. There is another trail that follows the powerline access up the mtn, it is preferred that you don't use this trail as it passes very close to several houses.
