Geocache Description:

This is the location of the Chicopee Community Center which was formally St. Barbara's Catholic Church. Permission has been granted to place this cache. Please be very respectful of the building and surrounding area. From what I could find, it seems the chapel is now used as the All Saints Anglican Church and services are still held here on Sunday mornings.

Chicopee was originally a company coal mining camp and at one time had its own post office along with several stores. It is now home of Pittsburg's Crestwood Country Club located just up the road to the north of the church.

This cache isn't necessarily challenging. It was initially placed so some fellow cachers could complete a challenge they were working on which required a cache to be found in Chicopee. You are looking for a decon container with some small trade items and a log. Please make sure the lid is snapped on correctly before replacing the cache. There should be no need to step into the small alcove. Good luck!

Congratulations to fuerte24 - FTF!!
