Harold Angel is the 22nd of my Peanuts series.
During the Christmas Season of 1983, poor Sally is burdened with having to memorize a line (or, more accurately, a word) for the Christmas play. The word is, "Hark!" and then, according to Sally, Harold Angel will sing. Tragically, instead of "Hark!," Sally blurts out "Hockey Stick!" and everyone laughs. Sally is mortified and believes that even the apostles--all 50 of them--hate her.
We later find Sally's older brother, Charlie Brown, on the telephone explaining the situation. After he says, "She gets everything mixed up... She even thought someone named 'Harold Angel' was going to sing," who should ring the doorbell and introduce himself, but...? (visit link)
Harold Angel is located at the Octagon Road Cemetery--away from the stones--and has been placed by the permission of the Town of Otisco. It is a very old cemetery in a beautiful location. Park on Octagon Road and walk in across the field and along the side. You'll find a footpath at the SW corner. Please be respectful (We know you are) and please do not cache here at night.
