Holly’s Hideout Returns is located within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and very close to the route of the Derwent Valley Heritage Way long distance walk (55 miles).
The cache is hidden near the footpath and is fairly easy to find, although the position may jump about a bit due to the trees.
Recommended parking is at (N 53° 03.544 W 001° 29.098).
The cache is only a short walk from here, either through the wood, or up the road. But be careful if you walk up the road as there's no footpath and traffic comes zooming around the bend. It's much nicer to take the footpath through the wood.
The original Holly's Hideout was muggled back in 2008, so this one has been started up as a new cache in a different, but fairly nearby, position in The Birches wood.
The cache was placed on the 22nd July, 2011. It is a medium sized click-lock food tub, and the initial contents were: a small "first to find" prize, plus log book, pen, 6 Putteneer fridge magnets, a small tray and a bracelet.
A few more bits and bobs will be added soon, now the FTF prize has been claimed. Congratulations to cats-eyes and Team Paz.
